Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Receives Tajik Non-resident Ambassador to Iraq




The Ambassador's meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq 
On March 17, 2019, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in the State of Kuwait H.E. Dr. Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq for Legal Affairs and Multilateral Relations H.E. Mr. Hazim al-Yusufi.
During the meeting, several topics had been discussed including issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, tourism, combating terrorism and extremism, the return of minors from Tajikistan to their homeland, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, the participation of the Iraqi side at the Fifth Summit Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) and the High-level conference "International and Regional Cooperation on Countering Terrorism and its Financing Through Illicit Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime".
The sides also exchanged views on the need for exchanging high-level visits and forging cooperation between the two governments, as well as exchanged views on key issues and situations in the Middle East and Afghanistan.
