Kuwait handed over 58 modern medical devices to medical institutions of Tajikistan

 

 

 

A handing over ceremony of technical and medical assistance of the State of Kuwait to medical institutions of Tajikistan was held on September 4 in the Republican Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.

The Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Nasim Olimzoda, adviser to the Emir of Kuwait, Adviser to the Sofa of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Director General of the Kuwait International Islamic Charitable Organization Dr. Abdullah Matuk al-Matuk, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait Zubaydullo Zubaydov and media representatives attended the meeting.

N. Olimzoda welcomed the guests and expressed ministry’s gratitude to the State of Kuwait for mutually beneficial cooperation.

“The state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait, which was paid on June 23, 2013, opened a new page in bilateral relations between the two countries. During this visit, an Agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Kuwait on cooperation in the field of health was signed, within the framework of which fruitful bilateral cooperation is developing year by year,” mentioned N. Olimzoda.

“Today, I assure the governments of Tajikistan and Kuwait that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population will take all necessary measures for the effective and targeted use of these equipment,” said the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population.

Dr. Abdullah Matuk al-Matuk while delivering speech noted in particular: “First of all, I express my gratitude to you for your kindness, hospitality and warm welcome. It is this constructive and friendly partnership that has united us. This cooperation is in the interests of both countries. The main mission of our organization is to help Muslim countries. I am sure that our cooperation will continue in the future.”

Chairman of Kuwait Charitable Foundation ‘Assalam’ Dr. Navir al-Amr also made a speech and expressed satisfaction with the mutually beneficial cooperation.

Then the ministry’s leadership and the guests got familiarized with the devices and expressed confidence that these equipments will contribute to the improvement of public health.

According to the head of the department of cardiac surgery of the Republican Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery Shamsiddin Burhonov, 20 types of devices for 58 units, including ECMO, were delivered to the center.
